The Yemen crisis is the largest humanitarian crisis in the world, meaning the health, safety, and well-being of Yemenis are constantly in danger. Children are especially vulnerable and the COVID-19 pandemic has only served to exacerbate the issue.
Due to the civil war in Yemen, a lot of Yemeni infrastructure has been destroyed and Yemenis lack access to food, sanitary water, healthcare, and education and are in dire need of aid.
Hi, I'm Kaitlyn and I decided to create this website to help provide more information about the Yemen Crisis due to my own lack of knowledge on it until a little over a month ago. After learning more about the crisis, I was disappointed that I did not know much about the crisis even though it is the largest humanitarian crisis in the world. I talked to my friends and they also did not have that much knowledge on the crisis and how to help. This is a problem because without people knowing about the issue, no one can help those affected in Yemen.
